Steal Like an Artist is one of my favorite non-fiction books of all time. It’s inspirational, fun/easy to digest, and beautifully designed. If you need a creative pick-me-up or a reminder to keep doing the work, this is the book for you.
Book Review: The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank
The complexity of Anne’s thoughts as she was coming to understand her own identity as a teenager and young woman was incredible. She captured so many raw emotions, intense feelings, and even depressing thoughts in such a powerful way that really spoke to me as a reader.
